A couple of people commented on my photo in my previous post. I was taking a picture of the image the shadow produced on the ground behind my vehicle. In the photo you can see the corner of my license plate with an image of a spider, yes, a spider on it. Why you [...] Well, it has been one full week at my new job. So far so good. The noise level is much lower here than at my previous department. I used to work a lot with students here at the university, but my new job does not give me as much access to students on campus. [...] …in a good way. I recently applied for a different job at the university where I work. I interviewed and was offered the job. Now for the hard part. I agonized all last weekend over how to tell my current boss that I was leaving. It is a lateral move with a slight increase [...] Mondays are always difficult for me. A crashing end to the weekend, then going back to the rat-race that is work. My department is in the process of hiring an associate dean. This has been going on for a year. This is the third iteration. Hopefully we will hire one from the four candidates [...] I am applying for a new job at the university where I work.
