We arrived yesterday in Aruba at 3:30pm. Beautiful here of course. Some of the best beaches in the world. Bogie rented a car today and we traveled around the island. We saw an old fort, huge cruse ship, and their parliament building. I took a walk this morning along the beach and met a [...] Another Saturday in the fall, which means another football game to work. I went in at 9:30am for a 3:30pm game. A lot of pre-game prep. It was such a long day…and we lost. I was finished by 8:00pm. 10.5 hours of overtime. Yeahhh. I don’t usually get overtime, so it will be nice [...] I had a glorious time in Wisconsin. I was able to visit with my family and also catch up with five of my friends. I went to a small music festival with my brother and his friends on Friday night and I went again with my sister on Saturday. We also were able to [...] Well, I have my airline tickets to Wisconsin purchased. I will spend a week visiting family and friends. Hopefully Wisconsin will be cooler than Virginia. Although August is the hottest month in Wisconsin. But that’s not saying much, August is probably the hottest month in all 50 states. Bogie will be traveling to Reno [...] Okay, am I the only one who thinks this phrase is an oxy moron. Really, when I was a child (Catholic child), I would start to see the signs go up around town for Vacation Bible School (not a Catholic thing)…and I just didn’t get it.
