Another Saturday in the fall, which means another football game to work. I went in at 9:30am for a 3:30pm game. A lot of pre-game prep. It was such a long day…and we lost. I was finished by 8:00pm. 10.5 hours of overtime. Yeahhh. I don’t usually get overtime, so it will be nice [...] Well the summer is truly upon us. HHH…hot, humid and hazy. This weekend I dog sat for a co-worker/friend. She has two Italian Greyhounds. One is 10 the other is 8. Both are very sweet. The older of the two is very friendly, the younger very shy. The younger dog looks like a small [...] Today I came home for lunch and when I came in the side door I could hear the door bell ringing. As I went up to the front door to see who was there, the door bell kept ringing. Impatient little visitor. I looked out the window near the door and the stoop was [...] My first memory of Charlotte was at the SPCA with her brother Bramwell. We had lost our precious dog, Bronte three months earlier. Bronte passed away on April 29, 2003 at the young age of four. We weren’t really prepared to get a another dog so soon, but I was missing the wonderful companionship [...] |
