We lost her on a Wednesday. I picked up Bogey at work and we drove home. We came into the house and I saw Bramwell as I walked into the family room. He came to greet us. I turned to the crate we keep Charlotte in and opened the door. I was numb. I carried her [...] We had a departmental retreat all day today. I have to start off by saying I hate meetings, meetings of any kind really, but especially staff meetings. This was just one long, boring staff meeting.
