I have been traveling this past week, hence no blogging. I know I can blog on the move, but I was in Wisconsin at my mother’s and she was having trouble with her internet. I could get to some sites but not others. She still has AOl dial-up and it’s a nightmare.
When I was living in Wisconsin in the same town as my parents, on Christmas Eve we would usually go to the Elks Club for a few cocktails and they would have a nice buffet spread out for everyone to munch on. We always had such a nice time. I remember they [...] Remember this motto to live by: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “WOO HOO what [...] Well my package arrived on Wednesday. Very exciting. I also received a package from my mother on Wednesday. Double delights. When I opened the package this is what I saw first.
Delicious cocoa. Don’t you just love the cute pictures on the tins.
3. Same for pies. Apple, Pumpkin, Mincemeat. Have a slice of each. Or if you don’t like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor Day? 4.
