Well, it has been one full week at my new job. So far so good. The noise level is much lower here than at my previous department. I used to work a lot with students here at the university, but my new job does not give me as much access to students on campus. [...] …in a good way. I recently applied for a different job at the university where I work. I interviewed and was offered the job. Now for the hard part. I agonized all last weekend over how to tell my current boss that I was leaving. It is a lateral move with a slight increase [...] Mondays are always difficult for me. A crashing end to the weekend, then going back to the rat-race that is work. My department is in the process of hiring an associate dean. This has been going on for a year. This is the third iteration. Hopefully we will hire one from the four candidates [...] I am applying for a new job at the university where I work. Of course I filled out an application for the position with human resources. At the end of the application there was a note that said you will also have to fill out a supplemental application from the department itself that they [...] My bad…so busy…can’t seem to find a spare minute. In addition to my full-time day job, I am helping out my previous employer by working for them part time at night. Yikes. No time. -thotlady |
