Recently our dog, Bramwell has been scratching and biting himself quite a bit. Last year he developed a hot spot and the Vet shaved him in the area of the spot. Poor thing.
For some reason his shedding schedule is off this year. During the winter months when he should have been keep his fur, he was shedding like crazy. Now that it is going into the hot season his fur is so think.
So…we decided to give him a haircut. We have never had his fur cut. I was very nervous. Especially the part about leaving him at the groomer for 3 hours.

He’s VERY cute! Can you tell… is it helping?
He doesn’t look too sure about it – does he seem to mind?
He is so pretty. I have a spaniel mix that we shave every summer. It usually helps a lot. But you might find that having his tail done balances out the look.
We are thinking about doing it to Fatty. How do you think a shaved fat cat will look?
