I wish that our elected officials do the right thing by the people that put them in their positions. But we all know that money and influence often talk much louder than doing the right thing. I wonder how many of our elected officials, if forced, can see themselves in the Scrooge role, you know the one of person with no heart or no soul and no true friends in the world, just people who want something from them.
