Bogey and I took our German host student to dinner last night for his birthday. He turned 23 years old. I guess he is not a boy any longer. But he is still very sweet.
He studies very hard and is very funny. I like people with a good sense of humor. It makes life more enjoyable. He is here for the entire year from Stuttgart, Germany. And of course we wanted to buy his dinner, since it was his birthday, but the little rascal went to the waitress and gave her his credit card and told her that in Germany the birthday boy pays for dinner. What a load of… I was very miffed with him. He is so sweet.
Bogey was in the Army, so we gave Anton a T-shirt with Bogey’s division symbol on it. A little something American for him to take back to Germany with him. I hope it fits.
