Well I took the plunge and changed my blog theme. I have put off doing this because I new it would be a pain in the @ss. And it is a pain in the @SS.
Where to start…
- Of course most of my sidebar items disappeared
- Most importantly my Blogher ads disappeared…they emailed me to ask if I wanted to be removed from their list of blogs…no, no, no
- Today my ‘Site Admin’ login prompt on my sidebar disappeared after I added Blogher ads back onto my sidebar, so I couldn’t login to administer my site
- Now, when I just logged into my site, the little photo of me to the left of my blog title has disappeared
- My signature has the gray box surrounding it, which I can’t seem to get rid of, I will have to re-create it
I really like the new theme because it gives me more features and flexibility, but it is challenging. Maybe if I didn’t sit at a computer all day I might have the interest or energy to work on my blog more at night. Ahhh, such is life.

It may be a pain but it really is lovely. I can see why you would like it. But I just have to stick with easy, or I get too frustrated. Although I DO enjoy messing with all of it.
