When I go into the bathroom at work, I always go into the same stall. Now, there are four stalls, and I always go into the same one (the second one). The door doesn’t latch, but it is a tight enough fit that the door stays closed.
Why do I always go into the same stall? It makes me curious…does everyone do that? Or am I just this anal retentive person who needs order in my life wherever I can find it…even in the bathroom.
I do think of it as my stall. Crazy!

I’m rolling on the floor laughing!!!!!!
I always pick the second stall as I walk in. I was even thinking about it earlier today as I did it. No particular reason that I know of… hahahahahaha
I absolutely do the EXACT same thing ……….always! And if someone is in that stall…..I’m all stressed about what to do. Creatures of habit we are?
I do the same thing too. I always go into the first stall on the left. ALWAYS. I don’t know why but I think it is less used, maybe a little cleaner, the one that has the least plumbing problems, in sum, the best toilet on the south side on the fifth floor!
You know, this is going to make me sound bad and for that I apologize in advance, but when I travel anywhere, especially in airports, I always look for the handicapped bathrooms. I think part of it is because I am fat, and the extra room makes it easier to turn around and do ones business, but I hate that cooped in feeling. But I always make sure that there are more than one stall. Forgive me?
I do the same thing in airports if I am carrying a lot of luggage with me. It fits better in the handicap stalls. But there are usually a few of those, so I try not to feel too bad.
Stopped by to thank you for your kind comment on my blog.
I got such a chuckle from your post- I go to the same stall all the time as well. I also get bent out of shape if someone comes in and picks the stall right next to me rather than one that allows for some elbow room!
I do that too! Althought the handicapped stall is preferrable. But the main thing is to check out the TP supply!!!
Hope you are well!! Missed you!
You are my sister!! I do the absolutely same thing. I always go for the handicapped – potty is usually a little higher than regular stalls – easier with the hip replacements. You are too funny!
I think it is a creature habit thing.
