On the road…

I arrived in Wisconsin on Saturday to visit family and friends.  The weather has been a little strange.  It was in the 70′s on Saturday and Sunday, but yesterday we had a beautiful sunny 80 degree day.  I spent the day visiting a very dear friend and her family, then we all went out to my youngest sister’s place on the lake.  We took out the pontoon boat for a few hours.  A very leisurely trip.  We had snacks, beverages…yes, even beer.   There were two friends of my sister’s along with their two sweet puppies.  A miniature Cocker Spaniel and a miniature dachshund.  Very sweet puppies…it made me miss my own even more…as if that’s possible.

It is always so nostalgic when I travel back to Wisconsin.  I have so many wonderful memories of family and friends here.  I do wish I could move back…maybe some day. 

I met my brother’s two wonderful grandchildren on this trip.  A boy around two years and a girl about one.  Very sweet and cute children. 

Tonight my older sister and I are going to the premiere of the movie, Sex and the City.  My brother works for a local T.V. station and was given two complimentary tickets tot he movie.  It should be fun.

On Wednesday I am going to see The Milwaukee Brewers.  My sister and her husband have season tickets.  The new Miller stadium is unbelievable.  It’s always a fun time.  On

On Thursday I am off to visit another close friend of mine and her husband.  She has a dog and three cats…so it will be fun to play with all of her pets while I am visiting her.  We will probably go to a local Mexican restaurant in her area.  I am really looking forward to it.
